OBJECTIVES

Promoting education amongst the poor & meritorious young girls in pursuit of secondary education. Support the needy widows, poor, & destitute through vocational training and alms.

GOALS

Introduce GEAR trust to popular and honourable residents for local development & to improve visibility.  Involve local patrons of repute after achieving the first milestone of 10 cities, and 500 scholarships for long term financial feasibility. Establish vocational centre for skill enhancement of school drop-outs to make them economically independent.

To serve the educationally backward through the secondary education of Girls, through financial support and mentoring. To uplift the educational standard of young girl’s in harmony with moral values.

About us

GEAR trust is a registered NGO, founded in Aug. 2001, by a group of Indian professionals, to support the poor, down-trodden and destitute girls & ladies of the marginalized.  It supports Girl’s Secondary Education by giving them financial assistance.It has supported more than 4500 girls over several cities, since its inception in 2001.  GEAR also trains widows, school drop-outs and poor girls & ladies, in Vocational skills to make them economically independent. It is running two vocational centers, at Allahabad and Lucknow.

GEAR also supports victims of man-made and natural disasters by distributing Medicines and blankets. It helped the victims of riots and Earthquakes. GEAR has been running a Hearse for the poor (since 2013), at Lucknow. GEAR also supports few outstanding student for their graduation.
